Growing up, L.V. Lewis wanted to be an internationally known rock star, but unfortunately, lived in the wrong part of the country to pursue that career (and neither American Idol nor The Voice were available then). An early love for the written word gave her the plan B she sought. Now she pens romance novels that let her live vicariously through rock stars and other fascinating archetypes.

European Tour was great for a quick read and would be great for getting over a book hangover.

Brent Kody was at the top of his game, as a musician...yet it was also the lowest part of his life. Having been swept into the recreational temptations presented to those in his line of work, he was overtaken by it all and suffered tragedy. Years later, with his past fame a dark memory, he takes a job as PA to the pop star, Skylar and battles with memories of his past and feelings she brings out in him.

Skylar was a very strong heroine in this story. Though young, she was quite mature for her age and was already a veteran in the music business. She's attracted to her new, handsome PA and is drawn to his mysteriously unknown background, yet so understandable that he isn't ready to share it.

This was my first from LV Lewis and I was pleased with her writing. The story provided an emotional story line, with great characters.

If you are looking for a fast feel-good rock romance this is the book for you. It gave me everything that I like in bringing me the inner workings of music along with chemistry between a pop princess and a bad boy rock star. Skylar is the pop star with a stage mom that could only make you cringe; her mom not only ran Skylar’s professional life but her personal life as well. Then we have Brody who was a rock star from a few years ago who gave it all up after his girlfriend and backup singer died of a drug overdose. Brody’s stage name of Savage Saban was the driving force of Kim’s death because he was the one to introduce her to drugs. Brody/Savage’s life was so wrapped up in drugs and groupies and he was spiraling out of control faster than anyone could help. After Kim’s death he stepped out of the lime light and hid under his given name eventually getting clean and giving up music. Now he was hired as a PA for the beautiful pop star, Skylar. He hid his identity very well and was a huge help to Skylar since he knew the ins and outs of the music business. Sky has eyes for this extremely good looking man and she was determined to show him she isn’t the innocent girl that many thought of her. The thing was if her mother would let anything like that happen especially if it could jeopardize her daughter’s career. How far was her mother willing to go to make sure that Sky and Brody never had a chance? Would Brody’s past be seedy enough to turn Sky against him once she found out the truth?

As I said this was a feel-good rock romance that has hooked me and I am definitely looking forward to reading World Tour which is the second book of this series.

This was such an enjoyable and fast read for me! I have had a lot going on lately so this was the perfect book!

The authors writing is superb and made sure that the characters were very well developed. And that is something I really appreciate in a story. Without well developed characters things just don’t always pull together!

Skylar seems at the beginning that she isn’t as mature but farther into the story you see just how mature she is.

Brady is in the place that Skylar was a few years ago and he isn’t willing to go back but for Skylar anything is possible.

I was hoping for more emotional responses from these characters but it was still a great read!

So, this books was alright. It wasn't an "OMG I can't put this down" read, but I didn't think it was bad either. It was short compared to what I normally read. -I read it in a few hours, so to me, it was a quickie (haha).

After the tragic loss of his girlfriend, and band-mate, to an accidental overdose - Savage Saban disappeared. Ex-rock superstar, addict and bad-boy Brody Kent, formerly know to the world as Savage Saban, never wanted to be near the music industry again. However, to avoid a depressing summer dwelling on the past, Brody reluctantly takes a summer job through his firm as a personal assistant for mega pop-star Skyar Samuleson. She is hot, young and on the rebound from her country-star ex that did her pretty dirty and destroyed her self esteem, but Skylar turns Body's world upside down and gets him to feel something again. She can't help but falling for the mysterious bad-boy. Brody continues to keep his past a secret from the world but some people just can't leave well-enough alone.

I didn't really think the story was that complex, but it stayed focused and to the point. I felt the character development was okay. You had some back story on both Brody and Sky so you understood their motives and emotions, but there just wasn't the kind of tension between the characters that I believe could have taken the story to the next level. I also thought that the antagonist was a bit two dimensional and predictable.

There wasn't much world building. I would have liked for them to have explored more of the places they were throughout the tour. It was shallow in that sense, but I think that adding that element of detail could have made it so much more. We just skipped over time and potential for growth and development. As a result, it wasn't too heavy or intense - it was pretty light in the drama department. I prefer a little more tension and suspense in my stories.

What I thought was going to be a story filled with resisting temptation and tension from a potentially complicated situation/relationship [being on the road and working for/with someone you want more with, but shouldn't get involved with - all the while trying to maintain a professional relationship and keep things low-key], just wasn't. Without spoiling - what I thought was going to be the climax of the story going in, was not at all the peak of the story. For me it was small hills here and there (nothing you can't see over) instead of mountains and valleys.

There is supposed to be a second book (World Tour (Rocking The Pop Star Book 2)) coming out May 23, 2017. I wouldn't mind finding out what happens now in Brody & Sky's story, but I'm not dying to find out either. I'd be alright leaving this series where it is.

If you are looking for a pleasant and easy “digestible” read ?

If you like Rock Stars ?

I just might have read the right novel for you then.

European Tour (Rocking The Pop Star, #1) by L.V. Lewis was my first novel by this author and I am pleasantly surprised. While there were no gut wrenching reveals or heart stopping moments in the story it was still an interesting plotline.

The authors writing is solid and the characters are well developed. For me it was a fast read that I truly enjoyed – especially after I had some very heavy books lately.

Also I enjoyed the fact that the author took her time to select a cover that truly reflects the persons that we find described in the book. As this gets more and more rare lately I feel that it deserves a special mention here.

Skylar was an interesting character – at first the reader might think she is too young. But it will be only a short time until the reader will be convinced that she is acting older than she appears. The kind of business she is in only leaves you two ways – grow up fast or loose.

And that is where we find Brody – years ago he was where Skylar is now – and he knows what can happen. He has no intention going anywhere near to where he was before… but – for Skylar ….

The hidden ugly truth’s are not really that hidden to the reader so the story flow was steady with no ups or downs in the characters emotions – at least none that I could feel. I was missing a little bit of angst – but that might also be because of all the high level heavy books I digested lately.

A really recommendable read for your summer holiday - ENJOY

European Tour is the first book that I've read by L.V. Lewis, and I LOVED IT! Brody Kent was a famous rock star with the world at his feet, when he walked away from it all, due to a traumatic event that broke him. Now he spends his time working as a personal assistant, so he can keep the demons at bay, since he made enough money to never work again. His newest assignment is pop princess, Skylar Samuelson, and for the first time since that fateful night, he feels something again. Skylar is at a turning point in her career, and her controlling manager mother has promised to loosen the reigns a bit. She finds herself instantly attracted to her new assistant, and decides to go for it. As the feelings grow quickly, will Brody tell her his secrets before someone else reveals them, breaking her completely?

I absolutely loved this sweet and emotional story. The character development is great, with a fun cast of secondaries. A quick, addictive, and well written storyline flows smoothly. L.V. Lewis' talented writing style reeled me in from the beginning, while keeping me glued to the pages to the very end. The simmering chemistry oozed out my kindle, and finally led to some smokin sexy scene goodness. I just wish it had been longer, as I couldn't get enough. Cannot wait to read more by this author, and so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Ms. L.V. Lewis, I bow to your brilliance and creativity. This Author is actually a first time read for me and I am completely confident that I am not only fan girling, but am impatiently awaiting the next installment to this unbelievably addictive storyline. Just Wow. I love romance books and yet, what she has so carefully crafted is so 'beyond' that. To design a book, featuring a retired & and in hiding Rock God, and then paring him with a Pop Princess is genius, however, it is certainly the well developed characters that will melt your heart. Everyone has pain, but Brody's goes through his heart and coupled with loss and addiction, you can't help but be riveted. I do not like to give away any part of the plot and with this release... well, it's going to be difficult. After the loss of his love & band mate, Brody just shuts down and regrouped the only way he knew how... alone. No band, no fame and no drugs/alcohol. After getting a job (he doesn't need) at I.Y.M. Brody breaks his own self-imposed rule, to once again work in the music industry, as the PA for Pop Princess, Skylar. While Skyler's Mother is her manager, she gives micromanaging a new name / meaning and is an altogether devious woman, working for her own agenda. Instant dislike there. Skylar is smart, talented and instantly captivated by Brody. While they start to build a real relationship, there are many things trying to bring them apart. I don't want to say too much to give it away and ruin it for you. Please know, that I am truly awaiting the next book for this Series and I am floored with the talent of this incredible Author, I've never read before but certainly will continue to in the future.

I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of Savage in exchange for my honest & voluntarily given opinion and I couldn't devour it fast enough. At the same time, I never wanted it to end. Talent in spades for Ms. Lewis and her immensely creative mind.

I loved everything heartbreaking part of Brody's journey to get to his Sky and can't wait to read more.

Brody Kent is trying to start over. After living a life as Savage Saban, the rock star, he has cleaned himself up after rehab and is an assistant with the company IYM, I'm Your Man. He wants to stay as far away from the music industry as possible but is asked to be the assistant for a pop star.

Skylar Samuelson is a pop singer and under the thumb of her manager mother. Desperate for a break she hires Brody so her mother will not travel with her through her concert dates in Europe.

As Brody tries to keep his past as hidden from everyone as possible secrets are kept and when they come out will Brody lose everything he has worked so hard to get, especially the love of Skylar which he never thought he needed?

This was a great book and I was interested in it from start to finish. I wasn't surprised at all when we learned who was behind all the manipulation and secrets being revealed. That one was a real piece of work!

I really felt for Brody as he was desperate to leave the past behind as it was so based on drugs which was what he was trying to stay away from now. Sky's mom wanted to know who he was to see if he was taking advantage of them but that's not what he was trying to do. I loved the chemistry between him and Sky and was sad that he didn't think she would want him if she learned the truth.

Sky was great and I loved that she needed her own freedom to make her own mistakes. She trusted Brody so much and knew if he was willing to tell her the truth about everything he was a good guy, despite what he thought.

I loved the ending but am really wondering how it is going to come back and haunt Sky and Brody!

Brody is a former rock star and works as a regular person now. He left the touring side of the business after he lost his girlfriend to an overdose. He now works for a company where he offers PA services to people but wants nothing to do with musicians. Skylar is the pop princess and needs a PA because hers is going to have a baby. She is told about this company and wants the best worker they have which is Brody. Brody reluctantly agrees to work with her but is on edge somewhat about doing so. Skylar is attracted to Brody and when he gives in to have dinner with her Skylar's mother and security bust in with another background check on him. Once things settle down Brody and Skylar start seeing each other. However when her mother finds out things go sideways a bit. Will Brody's secret get out? Will him and Skylar be able to be together?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Savage In Ireland is a term of admiration, something really great!
This book was savage in spades, just pressed all the right buttons for me until the abrupt ending, I need more!! There had better be a sequel or I will find you & I will kill you. (Just pretending to be Liam Neeson for a moment there!) I've been a rock chick for ever, when really young my sister doted on the Beatles but I was a Stones fan so this appealed to me for that part of the story but what I loved the most, ok secondary to the holy guacamole sex scenes, was all the lol moments, the sobbing, immersed in my own reality of seeing legends on stage in the UK, the land of my birth. This was a flawless read, so well crafted, I just love books that drag me in to feel all the tension & emotions. I could easily hurt the mother of the heroine & the grandparents of the hero, nah, I'm too old but it didn't stop me from considering it, that's how compelling I personally found this amazing page turner to be. Highly recommended.
I received an ARC & this is my honest & voluntary review.

Brody Kent lived a rock star lifestyle. Too many women, too much booze and too many drugs. When tragedy struck he turned his life around and started using his real name again and tried to live a clean life. Then the opportunity comes along to PA for pop princess Skylar. It’s a great opportunity and his new boss is more beautiful than he expected without her “face” on. So now he’s on tour with Skylar and her entourage and he’s continuing to make good choices. But he’s having a harder time keeping his heart from feeling things for his new boss.
This was a fast, fun contemporary romance. I don’t usually stray from my favorite genre of paranormal, but once in a while I do and this book proved to be a great break from the norm. I really liked the characters. Brody and Skylar were easy to like and Skylar’s mother was so fun to hate. The easy dialog and fast paced story kept me turning the pages quickly.
I give European Tour 4 stars and I look forward to reading more by this author.

This is a first read of L.V. Lewis' work by this reader. I was impressed with the clear, clean writing style. There was an obvious level of research undertaken by Ms Lewis in order to create such an authentic, realistic and down-to-earth piece of writing. A myriad emotions were portrayed and felt by this reader. A gritty, heartfelt story. The characterizations were a little too well done (tongue-in-cheek comment; teasing the author) from the perspective of the reader being able to clearly see ill will in certain characters and other characters holding reign on wanting to engage these truly unlikable characters.

This reader looks forward to checking out more writing produced by Ms Lewis.

Good stuff.

Sky and Brody are two souls that need each other. Sky started out as a teen heartthrob and is now a full grown woman. Brody was a teen when he started as a hardcore rocker. Brody burnt out because of the fast paced life that cost him his girl, his career and his peace. Sky is trying to find herself and she needs a new PA. Brody gets the PA job but finds himself falling for Sky. He knows the music industry inside out but doesn't want to tell Sky his secrets.
Once he shares his talent with her, someone is trying to out him and his past in the most horrible way. Will the person succeed in destroying Brody (aka Saban Savage) or will they destroy Sky?
Great love story from a great author...

What a book!!! Definitely a recommended read. There is so much emotion, passion, and love in this story. Sky and Brody are perfect for each other. Sky is an up and coming musician going on tour. Brody is hired as her PA with a painful past he wants to keep buried. As they are on tour their feelings develop and grow until they realize that they need and want each other long after the tour ends. They both have helped each other and made each other grow. Grips you from the first word and doesn't let go till the very satisfying end. Can't wait to read more!!!

All in all this was a cute book and had some very sexy scenes that you have called explicit. There is only one problem I had with the book and hat was how sky found out who Brody was. It wasn't very dramatic and leading to being anticlimactic. Plus I really want to know if it was her mother who put his name on the projector. Is she really that horrible. Lol maybe I'll find out in book 2 which is already out called world tour.

On the plus side thanks to sky my vocab just became that much larger.

This is my 1st read and review for this author and I absolutely loved this story and it’s nice to read about a female music star for a change and plus this is my absolute favourite genre. Skyler is a pop star who has a controlling manger of a mother Skylar fires her then she hires Brody to be her P.A. They are both attracted to each other but Brody used to be a rockstar himself but with his tragic past he gave it all up he also has secrets which could tear these two apart. I loved this story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Quick read about a rockstar that did everything wrong and lost his career and girlfriend tragically reinventing himself after 5 years as a PA to a rising Pop Star. Brody doesn't want to be involved in the music business at all but when he is assigned to Skylar Sanderson and her Mom/Manager from hell as a replacement for her pregnant PA he sees a sweet girl that he can maybe guide along in the right path. Brody has kept his past a well guarded secret, but secrets do have a way of getting out. I like this couple a lot, they fall for each other gradually in spite of the instant attraction and the author does a good job of keeping the flow moving at a quick pace. This book does end on HFN with a part 2 to follow.

Brody Kent, AKA Savage Saban, walked away from music after losing everything to drugs. Now he's back in musical circles as the P.A. to a young pop star, Skylar Samuelson. Hiding his past, Brody helps Sky by helping her during her European tour much to the consternation of her mother. A woman who's not above playing dirt including outing Brody to the world. Sky fires her and hires Brody as her manager. What better way to keep the man she lives close?

Average rockstar story. It was interesting that Brody knew to keep his addiction at Bay that he'd need to stay out of the music business. He doesn't stay away. There wasn't much substance to story. Her mother manager was wicked.
